Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro are the world’s most successful Dressage duo, and probably almost entirely responsible for inspiring a new generation of Dressage riders. While there are endless things to admire about the pair, there are also some lessons that they can teach us insofar as our riding goes and maybe even our lives in general. After all, life lessons are easier to absorb when they come disguised in a horsey package.
Once you’ve decided to do something commit to it properly and follow these simple steps: trust your gut instinct, always be brave, push yourself but know your limits, learn to let go, and know when to stop. Apparently, Charlotte knew how to follow steps in the best way as she and Valegro made amazing performances through years and knew when to stop when the time was due.
Valegro had left nothing to prove because he had already shown the equestrian world what he was capable of. What you are going to watch in this video it is a very emotional moment when Valegro had his last performance at the London International Horse Show 2016.
The video shows the full performance of this legendary horse and the complete farewell ceremony with many of Valegro’s companions like Charlotte Dujardin, Carl Hester and Alan Davies. They will still do dressage in my heart! Watch the video
