Nothing to see here… Just Carol, out taking an evening walk with Apollo. Oh, and did I mention Apollo is a gigantic stallion? A massive, majestic Friesian stallion who towers over Carol with the presence of a king?! It’s definitely not every day you see a surreal sight like this — a woman walking her handsome horse through a picturesque neighborhood with such joy and control.
From the looks of it, Apollo loved every minute of his peaceful outing. Carol says, “Not a day goes by that I don’t thank the good Lord above for my magnificent stallion, Apollo. He has a heart of gold! He’s the most charismatic, fun, loving, respectful horse I’ve ever known. People that meet him are in awe that he’s a stallion because he’s such a gentle giant who absolutely loves to show off!
He’s extremely powerful, yet he is always a perfect gentleman on the ground and under saddle.” It’s no surprise that Apollo was awarded a Grand Champion in-hand and in show driving in the Netherlands, U.S., and Canada. I personally wished that I could have been there that day just to feel in person the magnificence of his beauty. People who were there must feel very lucky.
